The 2008 SWIM SEASON is underway.
Welcome Coach Jeff Miller. We are proud to have Jeff accept the Head Coaching position. If you don't know Jeff's style, we strongly suggest you visit a practice. He is unbelievable. As one U12 swimmer said "I learned more with Jeff in the clinics than I learned all season with my previous team."

Coaching Staff
I wanted to give you a quick overview of the coaching staff.  Returning Head Coach Jeff will be leading the charge this year.  We have a wonderful group of new and returning coaches.  I have listed everyone below and the approximate dates they will be working to give you an idea of our coaches schedules this summer.
 
  • Jeff Miller – Acalanes Head Coach & returning LMYA Head Coach from our glory days! 
  • Mike Ferrif – Assistant Head Coach, former LMYA Swimmer, Cal Graduate, played Water Polo at Cal. Also coaches with Lamorinda Water Polo.
  • Alissa Skuce – Assistant Coach, Starts 5/26 – Mon, Wed & Fri. & Head Coach for evening practices.
  • Indy Colbath -  Assistant Coach, Starts 6/12 – Graduate UC Davis– joining us from Rudgear Meadows.  
  • Kelly Sitts – Assistant Coach, former Cal swimmer – Coaching Tuesdays and Thursdays. She will split lessons with coach Alissa.
  • Sara Caldwell – Assistant Coach, returning LMYA coach, May 18 thru June 14th before heading to Costa Rica to teach Environmental Ed for the summer. 
  • Ian Balczewski – Junior Coach, May – Aug. 1st – LMYA Swimmer
  • Katie Records - Junior Coach, Acalanes & LMYA Swimmer
 
Also we are excited to announce our New Gutter Guppy Coach – Bridget Quinn (former LMYA Swimmer, former Sleepy Hollow Coach, and currently a Kindergarten Teacher at Springhill Elementary.  We will be working hard to make the Gutter Guppy swimmers feel more integrated into the team this year!
